Borden's Pond, a joint project of the Borden's Pond Preserve and the Columbia Land Conservancy, is located within walking distance of the Village of Chatham, NY. A lower trail leads visitors along a small stream to a pond overlook with trails leading to an upland forest.

The property is open from dawn to dusk, free of charge. Activities permitted on Columbia Land Conservancy’s public conservation areas include non-motorized recreation such as hiking, bird watching, canoeing, fishing, and cross country skiing.
