The Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD returns to theatres nationwide for its third season this fall. On October 11, 2008 Salome will be showing (1:00 p.m. EDT / 12:00 p.m. CDT / 11:00 a.m. MDT / 10:00 a.m. PDT/ 17:00 p.m. UTC / 18:00 p.m. BST / 19:00 CEST); Soprano Karita Mattila reprises her acclaimed interpretation of the title character of Strauss's Salome, with baritone Juha Uusitalo as Jochanaan. Mikko Franck conducts.

All events are on Saturday afternoons throughout the season. In addition to the 10 live Saturday exhibitions, Wednesday encore performances will be shown the second or third week after the respective live event. The full schedule is below.
